745. Provenance: Beshir sub-tribe, Ersari (?) Turkoman, Central Asia (possibly N. Afghanistan)

Age: c 1920

Size: 240 x 136 cm

Condition: Pretty good for high age. Areas of minor wear.

Notes: The only large size Beshir rug I've ever seen in this design, though the colour usage is typical of the tribe. Somewhat masculine in appearance, this is a great rug for a gentleman's (!) office. Or indeed any office, or indeed any room.
