Age: Circa 1900

Size: 215 x 150 approx.

Condition: Wear to the central field.

Design: Palmettes. Village design. These Kurdish rugs have a reputation as the 'iron men' of Persian rugs, such is their strength and the density of their knotting, and are hence sought after.

Colour: Beautiful all natural dyes. Especially noteworthy is the wonderful green. Materials: Wool pile on cotton foundation.
