Notes: A charming tribal rug with bird motifs throughout. The Afshars are nomadic pastoralists who weave on portable, horizontal, wooden looms, using wool from their own sheep. They have a wide variety of designs - much more so than most tribal groups. This is a quite unusual and appealing one.
