636. Provenance: Beshir tribe, Turkmenistan/Central Asia

Size: 387 x 180 cm

Age: Circa 1880

Condition: Heavy wear, including on the rear. Some re-weaves.

Notes: Despite the heavy wear this antique is a beauty, and classic of it's Turmoman type. The Beshire have a very particular colour scheme that is difficult to mistake once seen. The soft pinkish red, saffron and pale indigo are all hallmark.
