Age: Circa 1930

Condition: Very good.

Notes:  A lovely saddle-bag with a hooked-diamond in the centre - reminiscent of Kurdish weaving motifs. The weave and handle of this piece suggest that this bag was most probably woven by Kurdish-Baluch tribes in the Khorassan region of Northeast Persia. It would have been used to carry goods on the back of donkey or horse.
