906. Provenance: Baluch tribe, western Afghanistan

Size: 70 x 60 cm

Age: Circa 1920

Condition: Good for age, with some damage to one corner.

Notes: The use of dark madder and walnut dyestuffs lends the piece a somewhat sombre air, but there are indigo details too, and a fine kilim end is still present. Would make a fine wall-hanging or posh cushion cover.
