Age: circa 1930

Condition: Good. Minor loss at ends and minor corrosion of the dark brown (iron oxide natural dye) - a common feature in old Baluches.

Notes: An understated and restrained tribal Baluch rug, with dark madder & walnut natural colouring, brightened by higlights in orange. The looped diamond motif repeat is hugely appealing. All-wool construction with soft hand-spun highland wool.
