Condition: Good.

Notes: Afghan Ersari main carpets in this design can be a bit boring, or at times ugly (coarse wool, pillarbox-red harsh dyes etc), but this is a beauty. The hand-spun wool is oily and lustrous, the handle is flexible and supple, while the madder-rich burgundy colouring is wonderful.
