Notes: This is an immensely pleasing antique carpet, that were it not for the wear to the field, would command a much higher price. The wealth of designs in the field is truly exciting - birds, tribal motifs, sylized flower blooms, peacocks, human-esque figures - all excecured in artful, playful style using wonderful natural dyestuffs. Great and harmonious border too!
