252. Provenance: Kurdish (?), Northwestern Persia, or possibly Caucasian

Age: 1908

Condition: Good for age, with even lowish pile. Just two very small professional re-weaves.

Notes: A wonderful natural indigo field covered by many 'botehs' in natural dyes. Especially wonderful are the small human figures in the field showing this to be a true tribal piece.  It has stunning colours and an even, flat weave. Very beautiful. This piece has it's date of weaving, woven into the design - 1908.
