117. Provenance: Afshar, Southern Persia

Age: Circa 1880

Condition: Wear, and one fairly large repair, and one smaller.

Colour: Lovely natural dyes.

Design & materials: Two Afshar medallions surrounded by tribal motifs, including ‘botehs’. The border is exceptionally nice. Wool pile on wool foundation.
